Well, this past weekend was a whirlwind of fun! There are so many things to share! First off, on Thursday, May 18th, Andrew and I made our way to Fort Wayne, IN, where we attended the Kenny Chesney, I Go Back Tour, concert! It was absolutely amazing. We have wanted to see him live for so long, and our kids are the best and got us tickets for Christmas this year! Again, such an awesome experience.
Kelsea Ballerini opened for him, and her performance was outstanding. As a singer song writer, you can tell already what a wonderful long and successful career in music she is setting herself up for! I’m so glad that we had the opportunity to see her as well!
Kenny Chesney puts on a show like no other, though! The excitement and energy were outstanding it was a lively fun crowd, all around a great show! This was a bucket list experience that we can now check off the list!
After the concert we headed back to the lake! We gave the boat a quick wash down and met Brianna and Jake at the marina, where we boarded and headed out to Put In Bay, OH. This is one of our favorite islands to visit, I will be sharing reviews of various bars, restaurants, festivals, and accommodations on the island. This weekend was a much slower weekend as it is still a bit in the preseason for activities on the island. However, there was still a ton of entertainment on the island this past weekend. It was “Victoria weekend” on the island where we celebrate our Canadian friends to the North. Brianna and Jake stayed with friends at the Commodore Perry Hotel and Conference Center while celebrating their friends’ 21st birthday. Some of our friends tagged along with that group, and it was great to see them, too!
We came in on Friday and pretty much had pick of space on the dock as it was a slow weekend, so we were on the main A dock great access, no rafting, and excellent service from the dock hands.
The company was great, the weather was great, and “The Other Side” performed fantastically on the lake this weekend! Can’t wait to see what the upcoming holiday weekend will hold. We are still deciding on final plans, but we will keep you posted!
